Trivia Quiz Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Trivia Quiz mobile app (called Trivia Quiz Classic on the App Store; Android package ru.bibobo.trivia_quiz_app, iOS bundle ID ru.bibobo.trivia-quiz-app), developed and published by Evgeniy Ivon, an individual developer (“I”, “me”). It explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

Summary

Trivia Quiz does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases.

Information the app collects

None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and it does not use advertising identifiers or device identifiers.

Information stored on your device

The app remembers only the difficulty level you selected, so it is preselected the next time you open the app. This setting stays on your device, is never sent to me and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Trivia questions from Open Trivia Database

Questions are downloaded from Open Trivia Database, a free public service run by a third party. To get a quiz, the app sends the chosen category and difficulty and a random session token that only helps to avoid repeating questions; the token is not linked to you or your device. As with any internet request, the service receives your device’s IP address. I do not receive or store any of this information. The content of Open Trivia Database is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Links to other websites

The About screen contains links to my social media profiles and to the app’s page in the App Store or Google Play. These open in your browser or in the corresponding app, and their own privacy policies apply.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, I will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
